Narrabri Shire Student Bursary
Supporting local students with equipment expenses
The Narrabri Shire Student Bursaries will be offered in early 2025 to students who are registered with CUC North West - Narrabri and have a permanent home address in the Narrabri Shire. Bursaries will be available to support students with equipment costs incurred as part of their study.
10 x Bursaries will be on offer, valued at $1,500 each. The bursaries are proudly supported by Santos.
Eligibility criteria include:
* Studying through an Australian University or Registered Training Provider.
* Registered with the CUC North West - Narrabri as a current student.
* Permanent home address within the Narrabri Shire.
Applicants need to submit:
1. Online application form completed.
2. Studying through an Australian University or Registered Training Organisation with proof of enrolment in subject requiring placement.
3. A maximum of 500 words outlining how this will assist you financially and how you will use the bursary to help succeed at your studies. By completing this part of the application, you acknowledge your willingness to have your story shared through the Country University Centre North West, Santos and Narrabri Shire Council.
4. Name and contact details of two referees.
At the discretion of the panel, consideration will preference financial need. The applicant may include an optional short statement of financial need in the above mentioned application.
If successful, recipients may be asked for photo and or statement that can be used by CUC North West, Narrabri Shire Council, Santos or a relevant Federal department.
This bursary will be available for application until 1 March 2025.
Applications must be submitted through the online form. Bursary payments are made after your institution’s census or fee payment date.
